As a consultant with a research and evaluation background, Anna brings a foundation of academic rigor to the more practical questions that social enterprises and impact investors face, and helps them develop realistic strategy and M&E solutions. Her thematic focus areas are global health, microfinance and gender lens development, and she has worked with enterprises throughout the developing world, though she speaks Spanish and has an affinity for Latin America.

Before launching her consulting practice, Anna spent several years working with the UCSF Global Health Group, where she worked with health social enterprises and conducted research on malaria diagnostic testing in Nigeria. Prior to that, she managed research and operations as Mexico Country Director for Innovations for Poverty Action, and conducted research at the Financial Access Initiative at NYU and the University of Washington. Anna received a Master’s in Public Administration with a focus on International Policy from New York University, and a Bachelor’s with distinction in International Studies from the University of Washington.

Consulting clients have included the Linked Foundation, Global Partnerships, Qualcomm Wireless Reach, the Aspen Institute and Innovations in Healthcare at Duke University. Anna is based in Seattle.
