I help foundations, non-profits and social businesses measure and maximize their social impact.

Organizations working to improve the health and well-being of people around the world are incredibly passionate about the important work they do. I'm passionate about helping them figure out how to evaluate it and tell their story to show that they truly are making a difference. I help foundations and nonprofits improve strategy and simplify the research & learning process to improve decisions and measure success.

I've worked on global health projects around the globe, primarily in the area of private-sector delivery of patient services. For more about my work in global health, see the publications page.

Much as my work in health indicates, my focus has been on private sector and civil society models that compliment government programs. I started my career researching microfinance, and currently work with a range of social enterprise programs and impact investors who are working toward a double-bottom line that phase out reliance on donor funding.

Programs with an explicit focus on improving opportunities and equality for women are a key theme throughout my work.
